We have taken the difficult decision to retire QRZBook v1.0.
To future proof the community for many years to come, we have completely upgraded the backend to enable us to add more features and to make the site even quicker than v1.0.
We have also streamlined our code and added various backup strategies that will enhance the security and longevity of our community.
There would never be a good time for us to upgrade things, so we took the decision to just get on with it and get it done.
QRZbook v1.0 was essentially built for minimal resources as i had no idea the community would grow to such a size in the short period of time that it did.
QRZBook v2.0 is being built on a powerhouse server with more resource than it could ever consume, with the latest PHP and all the performance and security benefits that comes along with that.
